The Cardiology Mentorship Program is a one-to-one mentorship with Dr A M Thirugnanam, MD, MSICP, FSCAI, Ph.D., senior interventional cardiologist and founder of the Academy of Elite Doctors. One fee of ₹2,50,000 covers the whole path — from your first year of medical school to the day you begin cardiology training, and onward into independent practice.

This is not a recorded course and not a question bank. It is a working relationship with a cardiologist who has spent more than two decades in complex coronary and structural intervention and written over forty cardiology titles. Every mentoring call is taken by him personally, which is why each intake is capped and every application is read before a seat is offered.

What the cardiology mentorship program includes

  • Monthly one-to-one mentoring call with Dr Thirugnanam — never delegated to junior staff
  • Live group masterclasses every month, with recordings if you cannot attend live
  • A stage-by-stage study roadmap built for the exact year you are in
  • Full access to the complete cardiology e-library — 40+ titles, included at no extra cost
  • ECG and case-based training drawn from real cath-lab practice
  • Exam strategy for USMLE, PLAB, MRCP, NEET-PG and DM/DNB
  • Research mentoring — from first idea through to indexed publication
  • CV, personal statement and fellowship interview preparation
  • A private mentee community of students at every stage of the path
  • Letters of recommendation for mentees who earn them
  • Priority access to CME programmes, workshops and live case sessions
  • Lifetime access — the mentorship does not expire and never renews

The five stages of the mentorship

You join at whichever stage you are in today and keep going. Nothing restarts, and nothing expires.

  1. Foundation (years 1–2 of medical school) — anatomy, physiology and pharmacology taught the way a cardiologist actually uses them, and proper ECG reading years ahead of your classmates.
  2. Clinical Bridge (year 3 to final year) — murmurs, heart failure, chest pain triage and the presentations every viva returns to. Your first research project is planned and begun.
  3. Internship & Decision (house officer year) — the year that decides everything: exam route mapped, CV sharpened, research submitted.
  4. Entrance & Residency — structured preparation for your entrance exams, built around your working hours, so ward work does not erode your cardiology edge.
  5. Into Cardiology — fellowship applications, personal statements, interview rehearsal, and honest advice on where to train. The mentorship then continues into your first years of practice.

Who this cardiology mentorship is for

It suits the first-year student who already knows cardiology is the goal, the final-year student running short of runway, the intern choosing an exam route, the internal medicine resident aiming at fellowship, the international graduate navigating USMLE, PLAB or MRCP, and the practising physician moving across into cardiology.

It is not for anyone hoping to buy a result rather than do the work. Seats are limited and should go to students who will use them.

Cardiology mentorship program fee

The fee is ₹2,50,000, paid once. There are no annual renewals, no per-stage charges and no per-module upsells. Every book and resource listed above is included. Payment is accepted by card, PayPal or Razorpay once your application has been accepted.

How to enrol

Enrolment is by application, not instant checkout — a multi-year mentorship only works when mentor and mentee are a genuine fit. Use the Apply for a mentorship seat button on this page to open the application form. Applying costs nothing and commits you to nothing, and Dr Thirugnanam replies personally within three working days.
